Sometimes the question “Are there any gay-friendly resorts in Punta Cana?” is asked. As far as we know Punta Cana is a gay-friendly place. Gay couples can also get married here in different resorts. But if you want a place to sleep that is as gay-friendly as it gets we got a few good options for you.
Breathless Resort & Spa
Most of the resort in Punta Cana are gay-friendly but Breathless Resort & Spa which we mentioned in our article on adults only resorts is on the top of this list. We do not know how it started but somehow this place got the reputation of one of the most gay-friendly resorts in Punta Cana. Some say they feel it is the adult character of the place. Others say that the overall vibe is welcoming for all sorts of people. Breathless itself says they accept everyone. We think it also has something to do with the fact that lesbian travel service Olivia, introduced hundreds of queer and lesbian women to the resort experience in Breathless. Whatever it is. This resort is one of the popular ones.
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana
This hotel is also one of the ones that is very gay-friendly. Especially because same-sex marriages can be planned there. No prejudice or bias in this hotel. The wedding planner caters to everyone’s needs. A big plus is pro is that the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is like a little city. Beautiful pools, a shopping boulevard, a special Spa and endless entertainment. The beds in the suites will make anyone sleep like a baby. And what about the live concert. Definitely one of the gay-friendly resorts in Punta Cana that need to be included on our list.
Mister B & B
Did you know that there is a gay version of Airbnb? There is and it is called Mister B & B. Most of the host of the apartments or rooms on this website are gay. Michelangelo from Brussels is also on this website and he rents out a cozy apartment in the El Dorado residence in Bavaro. This apartment is close to the beach and to popular restaurants around. Pranama and Amaluna from our article about nice restaurants for veggies are within walking distance. This place is ideal if you are on a budget and feel like you want to explore some more Punta Cana.
Another option is Eulise’s place. He and his wife welcome gay travelers in Macao. This beach must ring a bell by now. Their place is within walking distance of this beautiful beach. Mind you, there is not a lot in the area. But who needs more than just the beach and the little supermarket for the necessities you really need. This is what it is to really go local!
