It is almost weekend! And it would not be Friday, if you did not receive a receive an exciting BOP’s weekly from us, with some of the cool things to do in Punta Cana. What is going on this weekend? Lots of live music, buggies, Italian flavors, and playing padel with pros.

Come to Mamma

We know how it is on a Friday night. Sometimes you just want to go and eat a place, where the food is good, you feel welcome and you can really leave all the hard work of your week behind.  We found that place. Mamma Luisa in Punta Cana Village. An Italian Trattoria, where you literally eat at your Italian surrogate mother. Very cliché, but their lasagna is heaven and what about the filet mignon, the tiramisu, the…. Okay, we will stop there. Just go and experience it for yourself. When your done eating you can enjoy the rest of the village, there is always some live music around.

Salsa dancing with Yiyo Sarante

How much more Caribbean can it get when you are dancing Salsa late at night with music from a live band with one of the most popular Salsa singers of the moment. You get the chance to experience this on Saturday the 14th of April. Dominican Yiyo Sarante will be bringing himself and his band to Café Rose Bar & Lounge in Bavaro. Yiyo Sarante does not ring a bell? Well his song, Corazon de Acero (a heart of steel), certainly does. You cannot be in Punta Cana, without hearing this song somewhere. So, salseras y salseros, it is time to Salsa!

Buggy, Buggy

Get out and discover some more of Punta Cana. Have you ever done a buggy tour? We gave you a sneak peak in our article, swim in a cave or a lagoon. But wouldn’t it be nice to do something like this, this weekend? Something active? Visit the Taino cave, a cacao farm, and speed on in your buggy all the way to the beautiful beach of Macao. A beach that some of our people in BOP faces consider to be their favorite spot. This is also something you can do with kids. So, get up and buggy on out of here. Speaking of kids, on Sunday you can also take them to Blue Mall where they will be doing face painting and there will be superheroes personas around!

Padel with the Pros

On Sunday pros from the Spanish Federation of Padel, will showcase their padel skills on the Marina Cap Cana Padel courts. There will be an exhibition match, but kids and adults also get the chance to follow classes from their favorite pro. This event is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
