Punta Cana is a stunner full of variety. Couples, solo travelers, groups of friends and families – they all seek the lovely sights of our town. With many all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana, it makes sense that people do not always agree on the food served. Lately, we’ve seen many complaints about average or even bad food in resorts. We decided to do some research. Which all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana come with the BEST food? A top 4 for the foodies.

Catalonia Royal

The Catalonia Royal in Bávaro is an exclusive, adults-only resort that comes with 7 different restaurants. Guests have especially praised the upscale vegetarian cuisine, including rural Catalonian dishes. This magnificent resort comes with South-Asian, Japanese, Italian cuisine, tapas food, the Mediterranean kitchen and wood-fired pizzas. So what should you try? The vegetarian meatballs made from soy are delicious.

The Sivory

We talked about the Sivory in the north of Uvero Alto before, but it keeps on delivering. Le Sivory is a boutique hotel featuring three restaurants managed by Michelin chef Rafa Sánchez, AND a winery. What about Mediterranean / local fusion, Asian flavors, and worldly cuisine? Aspect crisp new sensations and the finest of innovative dinners. Guests praise the buffet too – good and hot: “The breakfast and lunch buffet was heavenly. Fresh eggs made to order, ripe, fresh fruits daily, pastries, great veggies and more.” But what does Chef Rafa Sánchez recommends? “The Tiger Prawns in a couscous crust with a fresh salad of Papaya and Mangoon and a creamy harissa sauce. Or the Lobster medallion in Orange sauce, yellow bell pepper, and baby pack choy are our well-known dishes,” according to the chef.

Iberostar Grand

Another winner, much mentioned on the foodie list: the Iberostar Grand 5-star resort in Bávaro. Four a la carte restaurants, one beachfront special and an international and luxurious buffet makes this THE resort in Punta Cana for food lovers. Japanese, Italian, French, Mexican or even American cuisine: it’s all here. For fresh snacks and teppanyaki table experiences. What do the foodies want? “It feels incredibly luxurious to eat grilled lobster tails every day!” It really does. And – there’s a pastry station at breakfast. In addition, to having delicious food, the surroundings of this hotel are impressive. Roman style influences and a sailboat on the premises of the resort!

Ocean Blue & Sand

All-inclusives boring? Nah. The Ocean Blue & Sand in Bávaro comes with Marilyn Monroe & Elvis. This one is for the kids as well, so you can teach your whole family about the excellent food around Punta Cana! And we mean it. The Ocean Blue & Sand includes as many as 8 different restaurants, from Caribbean grill to Mexican food. There’s even an American diner-inspired kitchen at restaurant Route 66. Or go see a spectacular Japanese night-time show at Ocean’s Asian restaurant. This guest did as a true foodie does and tried everything: “Ate in all the restaurants and the food was awesome everywhere, including the buffets.”
