It’s the weekend! This means it is time for another exciting weekend in Punta Cana! We listed some of the things to do on this weekend in Punta Cana for you! How about some lounging, workshops, live music, and more!
The Grace House
We at BOP love to discover new places. Especially when they are hidden away and out of sight. A while ago we stumbled upon this wooden blue typical Dominican house. We were curious to know who lived there since it was so cute. A few weeks later we passed by again and saw that it was turned into a small restaurant and lounge with a patio called Grace House. It still has the authentic characteristics of the cute house we saw the first time. The lounge area has a hammock and is furnished with wooden furniture. Some of them are made out of pallets. The vibe is relaxed and chill and they have music at night. Visit the Grace House on the Calle Aruba in Bavaro. It may look like the Calle Aruba ends as soon as you hit the dirt road. Don’t let that stop you. Just keep on walking and you will find the Grace House on your right hand side. Opening times: 8 AM to 12 AM.
Create your own art
One of our favourite markets takes place on Saturday! It is the Farmers Market in Punta Cana Village. Here you can not only buy the fruits but also taste some of the fresh juices they make for you on the spot. And there are lots of organic vegetables from local vendors and are natural products made in the Dominican Republic. But this time they have something extra special. You can create your own cement pot. Ok, this does not sound that arty farty. You can actually create a nice flower or plant pot made out of cement with an artisan style. This is more like it. Musica en vivo
Musica en vivo! In other words, live music. Punta Cana would not be Punta Cana without live music somewhere. This Saturday you can check out the Blue Mall for live music. The Alburjas live – it’s in the name – will be blessing the Atrium with their acoustic set from 5 PM. If you want to enjoy cocktails while listening to live music then Ceviche 301 on Plaza Turquesa is your spot. The live music starts at 8 PM there.
Lebanese dreams
On Sunday we like to relax on the beach and go out for a good meal. We spotted another hidden gem in the area. The Taste of Lebanon! A new Lebanese restaurant in the neighborhood. We were already in love with family restaurant My Way, but now we can add another to our list. At the Taste of Lebanon you can experience authentic Lebanese cuisine. Expect Hummus, Laban, and other typical dishes.
Visit them at the new Plaza Paseo in Cortecito! One of the tasty things to do on this weekend in Punta Cana.
Sunday fun day
Of course we also thought of your sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, and or grandchildren.
Take them to Punta Cana Downtown to AquaPark, where they can have live action on water. Obstacle run, wakeboarding, being thrown in the air into the water. You name it. Fun for the whole family. Visit Aquapark at Punta Cana Downtown.
