Scuba Dive on Isla Catalina

If you’re looking for the best scuba diving in Punta Cana, you’ve come to the right place! Isla Catalina is undoubtedly the ideal place to soak up the authentic underwater life of the Caribbean Sea. And when you join us, you get to enjoy a full day of snorkeling in the crystalline waters of the island, within the Natural Park of the East.

After embarking from the beautiful port of La Romana on the waters of the picturesque Salado River, we sail about 30 minutes in a south-west direction to the first reef of Catalina Island. Here you can see the famous area known as El Muro, where a vertical wall descends in two stages to a depth of more than 85 meters, ideal for scuba diving. Snorkeling is done in the shallow area of the reef, a place where less than 2 meters away, you can see countless corals of different types and an unimaginable amount of goldfish.

Once the snorkeling is over, we head to the most beautiful beach on Isla Catalina, where you can enjoy stunning crystalline waters. If you wish, you can snorkel in the shallow reef right in front of the beach. For the more daring, we have the option to practice scuba diving in these reefs, where our PADI diving instructors make two dives to contemplate the impressive bottoms of Catalina Island. Be sure to bring your camera to take pictures of your memorable day!
