It is almost weekend. Which means it is time to explore Punta Cana with BOP. This weekend you can enjoy lots of live music, different beers, and celebrate Saint Patrick’s day! Read on to find out about the nice things to do in Punta Cana this weekend.
Take me to church
We mentioned Church in our article on Cap Cana. This place is located in the Fishing Lodge. It is a lounge, bar, and restaurant in one. It even has a rooftop. On Friday you can enjoy live music while you sip on a cocktail with a view of the marina. You can enjoy live music from 3 PM till 11 PM.
This weekend you can enjoy lagers, ales, bock and more at the Beer fest. From Friday to Sunday you can taste a variety of cervezas at La Chozza where the beer fest is held. According to organizer Lola -who was featured in BOP faces- it is going to be a great event! There will be entertainment and of course lots of beers! Keep checking their Instagram for more updates. Definitely one of the nice things to do this weekend in Punta Cana.
We will rock you!
The world is fascinated by the movie Bohemian Rhapsody about Queen. Especially after Rami Malek’s oscar win for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury. If you want to enjoy a Queen concert with the best tribute band in Punta Cana, head on to Palma Real Shopping Village on Saturday. From 9 PM to 11 PM an amazing tribute to Queen will take place! Share your pictures with us when you are at this tribute.
St Patrick’s Day
On Sunday it is St Patrick’s Day. Saint Patrick’s Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick. It is actually an Irish holiday. But since we are so international in Punta Cana, we have festivities in light of this holiday too. Pearl Beach Club is having a special St. Patrick’s Day foam party. Wondering if the foam would be green, since that is the color for this Day? But you can also check out festivities at the Westin in the Punta Cana Resort and Club or pass by La Yola for a special menu. One of the nice things to do in Punta Cana this weekend.
There are some clubs in Punta Cana that have different parties for Spring Break. Pass by Oro Night Club where, Cire Music will be in charge of the music that night. Or head on to Imagine on Hip Hop and R&B night on Sunday or on Monday where Jersey Shore’s Pauly D will be spinning behind the turntables.
If you are more a browsing markets kind of person, you are in for a treat this weekend. The Farmers market in Punta Cana Village with their organic fruits and vegetables and other artisan goodies on Saturday is worth a visit. But also the Bavaro Locals market on Plaza Turquesa on Sunday is a place where you can score local treasures.
So, go out and enjoy all the nice things to do in Punta Cana this weekend.
