Bachata Rosa

Kick off your weekend by visiting Bachata Rosa on Friday night. This new restaurant of famous Dominican singer Juan Luis Guerra and the SBG group will have your taste buds longing for more. The idea behind this place is to stimulate the 5 human senses. Taste, touch, sight, hearing, and smell. It sure does. See Juan Luis Guerra´s influence in the interior that has references to his music videos. In fact, Bachata Rosa is the name of one of his albums. Hear the Dominican music while tasting good food. We won´t bore you by going on and on about their delicious menu because you will have to experience that for yourself. We do want you to try one dish. The Johnny Cake with Guacamole that is presented on a sort of clothing line is an absolute winner.

Blue Mall Punta Cana

While you are already planning to visit Bachata Rosa, take a stroll in the BlueMall. A new mall in Punta Cana. One part is still being constructed, but it will not spoil your experience. In this mall, you will find brands like Zara, Nike, and Aldo, but also a Greek food truck and a virtual reality experience. If your traveling with kids, don´t worry if you think they will be bored because there is a play area for them to run around in.

Huracan Café

It is the weekend, so get up and dance.

House the night away at Huracan Cafe Saturday Night. One of the hotspots in Bavaro. Romnie Abrue and Taritop will be playing the best house tunes. A nice extra: Huracan Cafe is located on the beach, so you will be dancing under the stars.

If you can´t get enough of this place, go back on Sunday and lounge on the beach beds and wait till Jimmy´s rock band starts playing at 7 PM. Rock on!

Note: you will find a lot of wedding and restaurant information online because this place is also used for events, but at night it turns into a nightclub.

Versus Marina Cap Cana

In need of a rehab session after a wild weekend? Visit Versus Marina Cap Cana. This club with a pool is a must see. Kick off you rehab Sunday with tunes by DJ duo Cafe con leche and enjoy free sangria from 2 till 3 pm.
