THE NICEST THINGS TO DO IN PUNTA CANA 1 – 3 JUNE 2018
The weekend is here. Well, almost. As you know by now, we at BOP treat you to some of the nicest things to do in Punta Cana on the weekend. So, what do we have in store for you these coming days? How about some well-deserved beach time, with wine, animation, face painting and live music? Yes, you can enjoy this and much more in Punta Cana this weekend!
Sunsets & Body art at Playa Blanca
Celebrate the summer at Playa Blanca on the beach this evening! Tonight (Friday) is the start of the new event: Playa Blanca Sunsets. And it is an extra joyous one. Expect live music from Dominican Singer Ricci Oriach. You might know him from his song La Guayaba. Lola Manzanas who you might know from our BOP faces is also present. She will be painting your body with the coolest artwork. The festivities start at 6:30 PM. Definitely one of the nicest things to do in Punta Cana.
API wine appreciation night
One of the favorite spots of Jonathan who was featured in BOP faces is API beach in Cap Cana. This is a quieter spot. Located in Cap Cana, API is a place where you can see the sun go down in the ocean. On Saturday night they happen to have wine appreciation night, where you can bring your own wine and share it with your friends. Their own selection of wine is also available.
Rock with Rod Stewart
If you were born somewhere in the 90s you might know him or you might not. Either way, there are plenty of people who grew up with the songs of American singer Rod Stewart. Hot legs, sailing, just to name a few. We do not want to spoil your fun, but the real Rod is not coming to Punta Cana. Instead, you get the Forever Rod tribute straight from Las Vegas. Don´t worry they are just as good as the real thing. To enjoy the music of your childhood or teenage hero, you can pass by the Hard Rock Café in Punta Cana on Saturday night. The show starts at 9 PM.
A crazy family at Huracan Café
Want to get crazy on the beach? Well, then Huracan Café on Saturday night is your spot. During their party LA CRAZY FAMILIA, you will be surrounded by characters (animation), and fun people. Only good vibrations are welcome. The party starts at 10 PM.
Artisans in action at Yauya
After those beach parties and some Rod Stewart, you might want something different on Sunday. So, why don´t you pay a visit to Yauya in Punta Cana village where you can see artisans live in action. See them working, while they make the most natural jewelry like necklaces and other custom items from seeds and other natural materials. Yauya is located in Punta Cana Village in the Galerias Comerciales.
Horseplay!
If you want to be a little bit more active this weekend, try Horseback riding in Punta Cana. No slow horseback riding, instead you are galloping around on a 300 acres ranch. Learn how to drive cattle, and roll some cigars in the end. You can do this tour at horseplay Punta Cana and is suitable for the whole family.
