INTERESTING THINGS TO DO IN PUNTA CANA THIS WEEKEND 22 – 24 MARCH 2019
It is Friday! Time to go out, get some sun and a drink or two! We have some interesting things to do in Punta Cana this weekend for you. How about some dancing, photography, golf, and Dominican cuisine!
Expo time!
Do something different on this Friday and visit a photography expo at the Academy of Music and Arts in Las Canas in Cap Cana. At 7 PM you can admire the pictures of Abrahan Garcia in the exposition collection of moments. Abrahan Garcia is an artist and photographer whose main work exists out of nature and object photography. This is definitely one the most interesting things to do in Punta Cana this weekend. Especially when you are into art!
The Takeover
After visiting the exposition in Cap Cana, you might be in the mood for some dancing. As Punta Cana is known for its cenotes and caves, why not try clubbing in one? We got the spot for you. Musical project Nois is taking over Under Sessions on Friday night starting from 11 PM. Expect lots of electronic music, good vibes, and a cave as your scenery.
Sunset Lounge
Don’t we love those Saturdays when you sleep in and wake up just in time to continue a great weekend with your friends? Well, you can head on over to Eden Roc at Cap Cana where there is a champagne sunset lounge from 3:30 to 7 PM at the Beach Club Ocean Front. Live music, champagne and a sea view. What more do you need?
Photography for kids
If you want to entertain your children, nieces, or nephews you can always go to one of the wonderful beaches in Punta Cana. But you can also go with them to the Blue Mall Punta Cana, where a fun photography workshop will take place on Sunday at 4 PM. So, do some shopping while your kids are entertained. This is one of the interesting things to do in Punta Cana this weekend for the kiddies.
Photos & food
If you are looking for a place that combines, tapas, wine and Dominican food, take a look at La Salita photobar on the weekend. Here they serve local dishes like sancocho, rice with habichuelas, and Karaoke on certain nights and photos. Quite a mix. Let us know what you think of the place after your visit.
PGA GOLF
Always wanted to see a golf tournament live? You can! The second edition of the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship, will be taking place from Monday the 25th till Sunday the 31st of March 2019 at the Corales Golf Club, where more than 132 professional players will have the opportunity to earn points for the FedExCup (The FedEx Cup ). Puntacana Resort and Club will be the host organization for the PGA TOUR in the Dominican Republic, the main American professional golf circuit for men. We know this starts on Monday and that it is not the weekend, but it is still an extension of it. Besides Golf, there is a food truck area on the premises!
