FUN THINGS TO DO THIS WEEKEND IN PUNTA CANA – 1-3 MARCH
It’s Friday! By now you know what that means. It means it is time for another exciting weekend in Punta Cana! We listed some of the most fun things to do this weekend in Punta Cana for you! How about some fashion, a bday party, sunset session and more!
It’s all about fashion
Do you love fashion and want to grow into that industry professionally, then Mau’s Fashion Marketing Conference is right up your alley. This conference gives you a chance to collaborate and to network with influencers, boutiques and wholesalers from all over the world in a vacation environment. There will be lectures to stimulate thinking on how to use modern media to expand your business into the future. The first lectures will take place today, but don’t worry you have until the 4th of March to hang out with this fashion crowd. Definitely one of the most fun things to do this weekend in Punta Cana. For more information go to Mau Production’s website.
La Señal Drink
Here in the Dominican Republic, we simply refer to smaller places where you can have beer, cocktail or something else and where you can dance as ‘Drink’. Do not let the name fool you. It’s not only about drinks. Plenty of times those places have live music and events. Well, there is a new kid on the block in Bavaro. This new place is called La Señal Drink and today at 6PM (Friday) is their grand opening. Expect special beers and lots of good music. This new place is located 200 meters from Atletico Punta Cana. You know that big gym you see on the highway before you get to the intersection of Friusa.
Bday bash
Crashing a bday can be rude. Of course we are not going to let you do that. This one is a little different, because we are all invited. Minimalistic DJ Corderow will be celebrating his B-day on the beach on Saturday at Soles. From 2 PM he and other DJ’s will be playing beats to give you that relaxed beach vibe while you celebrate his birthday!
Back to the middle ages
You know we always think of things to do for the kids in Punta Cana too. Well L’atelier is giving a workshop on Saturday for kids in the ages 0f 5-9 years old, where they learn to make illuminated decorated letters as used in books of the middle ages. You know those capital letters that have colours and intricate designs. This could be one of the most fun things to do this weekend in Punta Cana for kids! Get more information here.
Farmers market
One of our favourite markets takes place on Saturday! It is the Farmers Market in Punta Cana Village. Here you can not only buy the fruits but also taste some of the fresh juices they make for you on the spot. And there are lots of organic vegetables from local vendors and are natural products made in the Dominican Republic. Find out more about the Punta Cana Farmers’ Market here.
Sunset session
Do you just want to hang out a pool on Sunday and just listen to music? Head on out to Marina Bay in Cap Cana. During their ‘sun-sets’ there are free mojitos for ladies, DJ live sets, BBQ and you can use the pool all day long. What more do you want on a a Sunday. You can enjoy this vibe from 11am to 2am. Definitely one of the most fun things to do this weekend in Punta Cana.
