EXCITING THINGS TO DO IN PUNTA CANA 22-24 JUNE
Yes, it is Friday. Time for another BOP’s weekly in which we list some of the most exciting things to do in Punta Cana this weekend. How about cooking some Spanish cuisine, getting arty farty at a Bazaar, games on the beach and a Cuban reggaeton concert? You can do this and more in Punta Cana this weekend!
Spanish cooking night
Want to do something a little different on a Friday night? Why not try a cooking class at Taino Gourmet. You might know them from our BOP Faces with Nikolas. This Friday (tonight), they have a special Spanish cooking night. You will be making an entrée, main course, dessert and 2 cocktails. Come alone or take your friends with you! The class starts at 7 PM and is 45 USD per person.
Get arty farty on the beach
Punta Cana has a lot of creative inhabitants. We at BOP try to give them a face. For example, Tiano Solana, Liss Tolentino and Ashlee Dubinsky, were interviewed on our website. This Saturday you have the chance to meet some of these creatives at Soles Chill out Bar on the beach in Bavaro. Expect yoga, live music and good food. But also, a lot of local artisans with the nicest products. Ashlee Dubinsky will be there with her sea glass jewelry. Bazaar starts at 11 AM and ends at 7 PM. The entry is free.
Games and live painting on the beach
If you are looking for a fun filled Saturday afternoon with your kids, nieces, nephews or little brothers or sisters, then Playa Blanca is the place to go. From 12 o’clock in the afternoon there will be inflatable games for the kids, live painting and live music and a DJ. One of the most exciting things to do in Punta Cana with the whole family.
Church Cap Cana
We owe you a rectification of our BOP’s weekly from last week. We mistakenly mentioned Church Cap Cana would have their opening last week Friday. This was not the case, because the grand opening is this Saturday! Sorry for that. On a positive note, that means you still have to opportunity to pay them a visit. This new lounge and restaurant is located in the Fishing Lodge in Cap Cana. It is actually situated in the courtyard from the little Church. Let us know your experience at the place.
Bailando in Barcelo!
The Cuban reggaetón duo Gente de Zona will be giving some concerts at Hotel Barcelo convention center this summer. You know them from the hitsong Bailando with Enrique Iglesias. This Saturday night you can see them live! It is said they will be adding some surprises to their concerts. Would one of those surprises be Enrique Iglesias? You can buy your tickets here.
Go out and walk around town
One of the exciting things to do in Punta Cana on Sunday is to just walk around and discover it on your own. Of course, we at BOP can help you with that.
