Best things to do on this weekend in Punta Cana 14 – 16 June

We are back with a new BOP’s weekly this Friday. We give you the best things to do on this weekend in Punta Cana. This time you can visit a Food Fest, dance to latin and electronic music, and get physical with yoga and Zumba on Sunday!

Chill out Friday

On this Friday all you have to do is chill and explore. Looking for a place to have some breakfast or or lunch?  Head on over to Breakers Cafe in Los Corales. If you want to relax on the beach with a good coco loco, walk down to Soles Chill Out Bar at Playa Los Corales. Candela will be waiting for you. If you want to explore a total different area head on to Eden Roc in Cap Cana,  where their event Capri with love will have you feeling like you are in Italy!

Go Downtown

If you have been following Best Of Punta Cana, you will know that we love markets. So, when we discover one we jump on it immediately. On this Saturday the 15th of June you can visit the Downtown market at the Downtown Mall Punta Cana. This market will be in a space where the best products of the local community with be displayed. After all it is always nice to discover local gems!

The market starts at 10 AM and ends at 8 PM.

Foodies galore

How we love food festivals. Especially here in the Caribbean where you have such a large choice of different tropical flavors and herbs. On Saturday the 15th of June you have the chance to experience this yourself, because you can visit the Punta Cana Food Fest in the Galerias Punta Cana in Punta Cana Village. From 4 PM you can taste different cuisines and enjoy live cooking shows. This year they added a vegetarian station for the ones who do not eat meat. Definitely one of the best things to do on this weekend in Punta Cana!

Entrance fee at the door: Adults 40 USD and Children 20 USD.  This includes food. Drinks are not included.

Baila, baila, baila

After strolling down a market and filling your belly with good food you might want to dance it off! Head on to Bar del Centro at San Juan Shopping Center where on of our favorite bamds Decibeles will be playing on Saturday the 15th of June.  Expect songs from Juan Luis Guerra to Ozuna. This band will have you dancing in no time. This events starts at 8:30 PM.

If you want to do some dancing and have a Dominican food experience at the same time, then La Juntadera on the Avenida Alemania in Bavaro is your spot on Saturday a live band that plays Salsa and Merengue will have you dancing the night away while you are munching on Dominican snacks!

Deep down under

When you want something other than Latin music on Saturday, Under Sessions Punta Cana is your place. Expect lots of electronic music. You will be dancing to deep house and techno in an actual cave! Yes a cave. Since Punta Cana is famous for its hidden natural secrets, this is an experience you do not want to miss. This is really one of the best things do on this weekend in Punta Cana. The cave can be found on 13# Calle los claveles in Bavaro.

The party starts at 12 AM and Ladies are free!

International Yoga day

It is time to get all zen on Sunday after all those activities on Saturday. Well, you can because it is International Yoga day on the 16th of June! You can celebrate that day with Ananda Yoga. Remember our BOP faces where owner Yira spoke about her passion for yoga. From 10 AM there will be yoga classes  in the open air in Punta Cana village.
